尼克巴, 博士学位, is an associate professor of teacher education in Colorado Mesa University's Center for Teacher 教育. Outside of teaching social studies methods courses, he currently serves as the Academic Department Head.

His courses model experiential and collaborative learning processes where students interact with content and concepts through multiple means. Bardo taught abroad as a U.S. Peace Corps volunteer in the Republic of Kiribati, 危地马拉, and China and domestically in New Hampshire, 夏威夷, 俄亥俄州和佛罗里达州. His research interests include cultural simulations in social studies education, teaching global perspectives in teacher education, and narrative inquiry.
